Men’s Civil War 4-Button Shirt

Description: This is the shirt for any CW military or civilian man’s impression. Both Union and Confederate soldiers might have worn shirts like this in lieu of, or in addition to, their military issue unbleached muslin shirt. Civilian men of the time would have worn this for work, everyday, and business. (A white shirt was proper for formal occasions.) 100% heavy cotton, period-correct, woven fabric with shell buttons and hand-sewn buttonholes, and back yoke.
Women’s 1860s Gored Skirt

Description: This is a basic 7-gore skirt, designed to be worn with a matching top such as a darted bodice or a Garibaldi blouse. It will fit over a 4 or 6-bone hoop and petticoats. The skirt is gathered to the waistband, and the waistband closes with hooks and eyes. It can be made very plain, or dressed-up with a ruffle or ruffles and/or a variety of trims for an additional charge. Please contact us with your ideas. We will use your fabric or supply you with suggestions according to your choices below. We use 100% heavyweight cotton period-correct colors and prints.
Pattern: small print – floral, small print – other, large print – floral, large print – other, small plaid, large plaid, checked, striped, or solid
Color: (choose basic overall color) red, blue, green, gray, brown, beige, black (mourning)

Description: This apron is gathered, ties at the waist, with the bib designed to be pinned to your work dress with straight pins. Gives full coverage to keep your dress clean, and has 2 roomy pockets. (Dark red check shown.) 100% heavy period-correct cotton.

Description: These undersleeves are designed to be worn under pagoda sleeves, and reach above the elbow. At the tops you may choose elastic or cotton drawstring. China button on cuff with hand-worked buttonholes. May be ordered plain, or fancy, with cotton lace around the cuff. (White fancy shown.) 100% cotton.
Colors: White, Cream, or Black (for mourning).
